    I have set up a number of InstantOn APs. But I am stumped on a simple setup. AP15 is peered by a PoE injector, connected directly to a port on a Zyxel home router. The AP boots up, flashes green for 4-5 minutes, then shows a solid amber light. I have tried factory rest, reset the modem, etc. it seems that either the router is not giving a IP address or it is blocking the AP request to reach the cloud.

    I have checked all router/firewall settings and port 443 is open. I can see from the router client list that the AP15 is getting a valid IP address. So something seems to be blocking it from reaching the cloud and enabling it to be configured. All other clients served by the Zycel router are getting IP addresses and passing traffic.

    Any ideas what may be trying to block the requests?

    Solid Amber light with traditional Aruba APs would indicate PoE issue or power save mode. Can you try that device with supplied power supply or some other PoE source ?

    @RichWiFi

    Solid amber light means the AP is not able to reach the cloud.  If you know the IP address of the AP, can you connect to the AP directly (https://<ip address of the AP) and take a snapshot of the page, which has troubleshooting information?
