Facebook login helps the Guest user to login to wi-fi using Facebook page.
Administrator can assign their Facebook page to the Guest portal.
Once the page is mapped to the Guest portal, it will be in sync with Facebook and cannot be removed.
If Administrator tries to change the page from Guest portal for a different user, it will show the below error.
This is because, for security reasons, Aruba Instant On have limited the privilege to change the Guest portal page.
Only the Page’s Administrator can remove the Facebook page from Guest Portal.
How to Change the Page
Navigate to configured Facebook Page and click
“Edit Page Info”
on top information bar.
It will Navigate to Page information Window.
Click
“Facebook Wi-Fi”
option from that list.
It will navigate to Splash page configuration window.
Select the Site from
“Remove Facebook Wi-Fi Networks”
list.
Click Delete
to delete the Page from AP’s Guest Portal.
After Deleting the Page, it will be reflected in Guest portal page.
Navigate to Instant On’s Guest portal page and the previously configured Page will not be visible anymore.
Click “
Configure Facebook Wi-Fi”
option and it will redirect to Facebook login.
Login into Facebook and Map a different Page for Guest Portal.
