Is there is any discernable performance difference when an instant-on AP is running in router vs AP mode? Presumably some compute power must be allocated for doing NAT and routing work, but I'm wondering if that is significant at all.
@kuanweeloong This will impact traffic that flows through the local network to the Internet. However, traffic that is solely staying with the local network should not be much impacted. Also, when you deploy an Instant On AP as a router, you should be directly connected to an ISP modem, which in most countries has a maximum throughput that is typically much less than what our AP product line is capable of delivering. Therefore, in practice the performance hit of being a router should not have much of an impact on the overall user experience.
What is the max throughput supported by AP11 in routed mode?
