I have an Aruba IAP-103 and I'm trying to configure an External Splash page with Authentication Text with no luck.
Splash page Type: External
Auth server 1: none
Captive Portal profile: mysplashpage
- Type: Authentication Text
- IP or Hostname: www.mywebpage.net
- URL: /wifi
- Port: 443
- Auth Text: CONNECT
What do I need to imbed into the web page for the splash page to work properly? Also, when I try to connect I get a 400 bad request message going to a website on internet. It doesn't seem to redirect me to the mywebpage.net/wifi page. Does the captive portal/web page have to use port 443 or 80? Does it matter? I heard there was an issue using HTTPS to the captive portal web page versus port 80,
