Yeah @fernando , it will support Clearpass as standard radius for 802.1x.
Yes there is support for an external authentication server. You get the centralized AAA functions, profiling, external captive support, etc. Instant On is probably the only AP solution at the price that offers this intergration.
As far as I know, there is no external captive portal support. Are you sure that external captive portal support is available?
