​Below is the block diagram that I want to configure AP.

So I installed DHCP server on my laptop and assigned IP and Gateway to AP.

Below is the current AP setting.

So I want to connect to the AP using another router.

Question

1. If DHCP is given to the AP over the Internet, the AP's wireless network is formed. (Laptop also shows the name of the wireless network.)

But, If I create a DHCP server on my laptop and give it a DHCP IP, the wireless network is not formed. What is the reason? (Figure 2 shows the setting information of the AP that received DHCP IP from the laptop.)

2. Is it possible to configure a wireless network to view the camera on a laptop by envisioning it as shown in Figure 1?

If it can't be configured with AP17, I have to look for another product.

@AP17_ants The AP17 will only work as a mesh point and will not work in your network setup here.

What settings should be set to use as a mesh point?
How do i connect the IP and gateway to form a mesh network?
