    Hi,

I'm a little bit concerned about the automatic logoff in the Aruba Instant On Portal.

If I'm logged on to the portal with m browser and wait a while I'm getting automatically logged off.

That is how it should be.

If I close my browser or browser window before I get automatically logged off, and open my browser window again a few days later, I'm still logged on to the portal.

This could be a security risk if someone forgets to logoff and is not like other sites behave.

Any idea why it is like that and if it can be fixed?

    Bjoern,

    Use MFA to log on

    Kind regards,

    That doesn't resolve the issue.
    I have MFA enabled.

But the sessions to be saved for an unlimited time when I close the browser before I get logged off automatically.
I can open the browser on that device at any time and I'm still logged in to the Portal without any password or MFA prompt.

    Yes, I'm experiencing the same.
If I close the browser before logoff or time out, the session stays alive forever.
no password or MFA needed when same browser is opened again.
