WiFi 6 will have fairly limited benefits in most outdoor applications, unless you're a dense campus type environment. Even then, limited benefits. I wouldn't hold my breath for a WiFi 6 outdoor AP.
Grab yourself some AP17s, get them deployed, and enjoy the benefits of quality WiFi now.
We had a client that heard about WiFi 6 back when the press releases happened, and he cancelled a pending order for APs. This was despite informing him of limited benefits in residential and a long wait. I suspect he's still waiting. It's not worth it. Buy what's going to work and enjoy!

I want to buy 6 for my property plus 3 of my neighbours who I sold Instant On to also want the same. We use Instant on wifi outdoors today.

Does anyone know if a WiFi 6 Outdoor AP is on the roadmap and if so when it will be released?
