Firmware Update 2.2.0

    Hey everyone!
    Firmware came yesterday evening but this morning it seems that that it got pulled back. My whole network wants to downgrade again to 2.1.1.

    Support is investigating.

    Case number for reference: #5352211763

    Anyone else?

    Hello,

    same here.
    Had issues yesterday installing 2.2.0.
    After a reboot of some APs it installed and this morning it wants to downgrade again.

    Okay so it's a global problem.

    I don't want to downgrade at all because normally downgrades are not good.

    And so far I don't have any problems with the network. All APs and switches upgraded successfully and all new features are working as far as I can see.

    I'm also not going to downgrade, v2.2.0 seems good so far. Guess Aruba staff members also regret how things are going, just when you think it's ok, another issue comes to light. I just posponed the downgrade a week, guess after the weekend this will be fixed.

    I still had the false 'update available' notification. A reboot made it go away. All good now. Hope to get a long uptime without issues now 👌

    Hello @Charmacas,

    We had a potential deployment issue that we were investigating.
    No change have been made to the release version 2.2.0 but this may have caused the false upgrade notification that @JaapVaak is mentioning.

    Yeah, also the new custom DNS option (found in inventory settings) seems ok. I don't need it, but good it's an option. Nice steps forward.

    Looks like the DNS setting and setting a Voice vlan on switches took a few days to show up for me.
    Hoping this means the AP's and switches can use my internal DNS server to resolve hostnames for the IP addresses.
