First of all I hate the mounting options of these access points, hard enough to please owners on commercial projects but nearly impossible on high end residential which forces us to hide these AP's instead of putting them wear they belong. They're a great looking AP but with the mount, even the grid mount they then look stupid.
Be that sa it may today's beef is why isn't the standoff mount symetrical? Why aren't the holes the same no matter how you rotate it. I'm really who was the genius? Maybe you engineering types don't care about asthetics but tue rest of the world does and most defintiely wealthy clients. Sure we should have caught this before making holes and inserting the rawls with the mount in the wrong orientation but who would design it like this?
