  • 1.  Horrible speeds with AP11 2.4Ghz

    When clients go to 2.4Ghz we only get speeds like 1-2Mbps. How can this be slow slow? Is there a way to force clients to 5Ghz?

    @GVL  BandSteering (preferred 5GHz band) is always enabled on Instant On. On the 2.4Ghz factors like congestion, interference can cause issues and lower speeds.

    Instant On solution automatically moves capable clients to 5GHz which usually offers better performance. We do not expect low performance in 2.4GHz unless there is too much noise and interference on the 2.4GHz channel caused by external sources. It would be interesting to see if you get better performance at other locations. Please reach out to Support so they can help get to the bottom of this.
