I'm looking through the interface for the AP22, and I can't find where to set the management VLAN for access points. I'm trying to move the AP off the default.

@Lancenichols You will need to set the switch port to the management VLAN and then you can allow other VLAN's to provide DHCP. And in the SSID under options, you can set the VLAN for clients.

Okay. Following this, I take it that you can't set the management VLAN on the ethernet interface for the AP it's self? So if using a 1930 series switch, the port an AP is plugged into should be configured as follows:

    • untagged - Management LAN
    • tagged - VLANs SSIDs participate in

@Lancenichols This is all in local mode on the switch. In the web portal, the AP's and switch should be in the same VLAN to be managed for the site. What is your use case for having a management VLAN for the AP's?

Primarily security, basic design should not have devices managed on the default VLAN. I’m trying to follow best practices.
