  • 1.  AP22 Gets very hot, is this normal?

    I just bought a brand new AP22 and running only for a couple hours it's already hot enough to burn your finger. I just have it laying on a wooden table. Previously my Meraki MR33 (a comparable model other than ax vs ac) would never get anywhere near this hot after running for a year straight. Both have used the same basic 802.3af power injector. Any thoughts?

    That's not normal! It can get a bit warm to the touch but not so warm to burn a finger.

    I would disconnect, maybe try another power injector, but I guess you'll have to return it. I'm sorry.

    Both of mine don't get hot to the touch at all. They are warm, ceiling mounted and powered by a 1930.
