    Hi,

We’ve got 3 AP11 in our house, but now i want to add WiFi to our (large) garden. Now we have a shed with a concrete floor with roof, power and ventilation, so the question if we can place a AP11 on the inside.

Also we do not have a RJ45 connection there, so it will be using the mesh connection. Does the inside AP11, to which the outside AP is connected, also suffer from the performance impact?

    Kind Regards

    Paul

@Ankh Depending on the distance from the shed to the AP's inside the house and what the shed is made of may not get you the signal coverage to have a good mesh and could impact performance.

From one of the APs to the shed it is around 16-20 meters.

I've checked with inssider. The shed door has a glass and small metal splints (so i checked with the door open and closed).
The rest of the shed is made with normal wood.

@Ankh The signal strength is not optimal and may be intermittent and throughput may become an issue.
