  • 1.  Unable to onboard AP11D

    I'm trying to pre-stage an AP11D for a new site, and I am unable to get the device to discover. The device is plugged in, has power, the lights are alternating amber/green, and I can see it has an IP address assigned on my default VLAN. 

    I've tried discovering via serial number, and the regular discovery mode and nothing happens. The software version is 2.2.0.0 (78206.1) and the status is: Waiting to be onboarded...

    The device is not connected directly to my ISP's modem, but will be at the remote site, and will act as a router and AP. I chose the "connected directly to the ISP modem" configuration option.

    As long as the AP has unrestricted access to the internet, the portal should be able to discover it. If you continue to have issues, contact Aruba support...this is included for one year after purchase of the AP.
