  • 1.  Client reporting "Access point temporarily full" ION AP12, only 16 clients

Since updating to the 2.2.1 firmware on AP12, clients have been reporting "Access point temporarily full". There are only 16 clients across 2 AP12. The wireless network IP and network assignment is set to Same as a local network (default) and this was not seen before doing the firmware update.

Has anyone else seen this? Is there a fix? There is no obvious control of the DHCP (Provided by Ubiquiti router in this network) in the ION AP12 web access.

    Thanks for any help.

Take a look at your router and the DHCP leases do you have it set to a /24? Is the router doing anything with MAC auth? Newer phone with MAC randomization might cause this issue as when they re-auth can change MAC address. If everything looks good and you have rebooted the router and are still having issues reach out to support to look at how many users are being reported on the AP's.

    Hi Greg,
Thanks for responding. Checked the DHCP server leases and subnet, all ok. The ( only) client that's reporting the unavailable status is a new pixel 4A 5g so your suggestion about Mac randomisation may be a clue. Will follow in it up. Thanks.
