  • 1.  IAP 555 not getting IP from DHCP

    Hi All,

    I have a few brand new IAP 555 access points. they are connected to Aruba switch, the switch is running as DHCP server for this vlan. I have set this vlan as untagged VLAN on the switchports connecting WAPs. DHCP options as below:

    option 43 ip 192.168.88.1
    option 60 ascii ArubaInstantAP

    I can see dhcp request coming in and an DHCP offer went out, binding was successful. however, the arp table didn't not have the IP, ping didn't work. lldp shows ip 169.254.x.x

    Is there anything missing to initialize a instant virtual cluster? thanks in advance.

    Hi Ben.

    This forum is for Aruba Instant ON.
    You have a Aruba AP. There are no Instant On with 555.
