Unpacked the switch screwed it into the rack, after hours, plugged in power & started plugging over the network cables. Everything appeared to work, great, lets take a look at this app. Scan the barcode? And where would that be? Serial number, oh thats always on the back.... But I'm not interested in unscrewing it, and can't get behind it... I know I'll get the serial # off the invoice. Why is the serial on the invoice 10 characters and the app wants 16 ?
I got it going, by finding the IP it had and browsing to the page, autodetected the device on the network, added to the account. Turns out the 10 digit serial # is correct.
