Instant On - Wired

hi guys does anyone have ever used J4858C with instant on 1930, i know based on IRIS you need J4858D but i was wondering if this will work since they are just variation code same specs with transceiver

@RomiBaido The "C" version should work, but the supported transceiver is the "D" version.

Have you tried it? I have one J4858C transceiver and doesn't work on the aruba 1930 but on aruba 2540 work. @GThiesen  Any idea? I have changed differents settings on the aruba 1930 but doesn't work.

The J4858D transceiver is the only one that works on 1930? Can anyone confirm the J4858D transceiver works on the aruba 1930?

@agrienegia Can you take photos of both sides of the transceiver so I can forward them on to the product team to do some testing.

What symptoms are you seeing? Fault light? No light?

The sympthons are no light on the aruba 1930 site but other site have green light. I tested the all SFP ports.

Now I have tried the switch wiht another HP switch and works correctly, the problem was when i connect a diferent switch brand(moxa, dahua,...).I need to connect an industrial switch.

P.D: I bought a J4858D transceiver and doesn't work, with same result.

@agrienegia  Only official manufactured transceivers are supported. There are plenty of 3rd parties that state they are official, but are not and will cause issues with connectivity and not work at all.

@GThiesen the J4858D transceiver is official manufactured and the problem persists, any idea?
