Looked for replacement of aging Cisco SG300 boxes and found Aruba IOn 1930 switch family. I have good experience with HPE 1920 so I expected its successor with more features, but 1930 is stripped down and lacking some features, that were officially supported by 1920 (and many other acessible through 1920's unsupported CLI).
If the 1930 family supports both IPv4 and IPv6, why does it support advanced switching features for IPv4 only? I mean IGMP snooping, DHCP snooping, IP source guard, ARP protection and their equivalents in IPv6 world (MLD snooping, DHCPv6 snooping, ND detection / FHS). It is strange that switches introduced in 2020 exhibit such asymmetry in IPv4/v6 protocol support.
