    I bought a open box 1930 that was factory reset but it still says:

    Device onboarding status
    Onboarded

    Does this mean its still connected to someone's InstantOn portal? Is there a way around this to get it added to my portal?

    Yes we did try resetting it a few times. The switch was replacing a older Aruba switch so we had it racked right below it but it couldnt find it online. We had to cross connect to the other InstantON 1930 24port switch to get the search to find it.

    You might have to call tech support then.  It probably wasn't decommissioned by removing it from inventory in the last system.  When they check into the cloud the cloud must look at its MAC or serial number and from that they look up to see what account it's registered too and if they didn't remove it from the inventory its still likely bound to that previous system.  Could also contact the person you bought it from and have them remove it but they would have a constant warning saying a device is offline which should prompt them to do that
