I'm checking the software file for updates today.

I confirmed that the existing file InstantOn_1930_1.0.2.0_125.swi is missing.

If there is a problem, should I downgrade the existing updated product?

    And...

Shouldn't searches at least be related documents or software searches?

    It's so uncomfortable.

From what I can tell, they do not include the InstantOn line from their portal support system. They are taking the Ubiquiti/Apple path, where nothing is documented until a question is asked. Oh yeah, and the products are painted white, not black or silver, because that makes them friendlier to non-technical people.

Seriously, though, it looks as if the "community" is the sole source of support for the InstantOn series.

This was my first foray into this product line, and while it shows great value potential, it has a ways to go. I'm hoping for just a few simple improvements to the GUI, mentioned elsewhere. I'll just keep nagging and hoping--Ubiquiti-style!

Release notes are available on this site, under the Support/Documentation menu and then selecting Release Notes:

This seems like a massive disservice to their clients. My company is migrating from using OfficeConnect 1900 series to the InstantOn 1930, and so far the experience hasn't been good.  disjointed random forum posts for various parts of the documentation and support information for the switch, no central location I can go to in order to get all the related materials to the switch.

I feel like I'm in high school passing diskettes around to install the software.  Honestly, I was expecting the 1930 to be improved in this regard, and perhaps even have a "check for updates" button in the UI, but so far nothing.  I can't even do it manually, because of the piss-poor administration of the site(s) responsible for holding any updates.  They simply don't have any, or don't have the model listed at all.  I get that the 1930 is pretty "new" but this is just embarrassing.

Crazy part is even with 1.0.3 that just came out, you only find mention of it in the Release notes for AP 2.2.0. The download and changelog for 1.0.3 are nowhere to be found but if you cloud manage the switches it should have been upgraded by now. At least mine was.
