  • 1.  latest firmware for 1930 switches (1.0.3.0)

    Customer has 50 1930 switches and wants to manage them locally.

     

    He wants the upgrade file for latest firmware 1_0_3_0 as this comes configured on new switches but is not available on download site.

    Where can i access the latest firmware files?

    I have no clue why there are no release notes for the latest firmware, let alone a download link to it.

    Unless Aruba is willing to post the firmware file or give it to you after contacting support (do they even have support?), the only thing I can think of is putting switches into "cloud" mode, letting them update, then putting them back into local mode.

    Aruba is acting strange on this. Why should we download firmware from some blog page? Why there is no official download page? I know that we can upgrade being connected to cloud, but what if I want to manage switches online?

    Hello,
    I think you can download the firmware from the switch if you have version 1.3 on the primary Image.

    Backup and Updates Files > Backup > Active Image > HTTP

    The file will download

    1.0.4.0 came out today. Still no changelog on 1.0.3.0 or download for it.
