  • 1.  1930 Management VLAN

    Hi guys,
I'm scratching my head how to get access to Management VLAN with my client and server. I have a 1930 24G and 1930 24G PoE with local management. Management VLAN on both switches is 10. My client is connected to the PoE and port is VLAN 30 untagged for the client VLAN. PVID is 30 and there is no other VLAN on this port. So obviously I can't connect to the PoE Switch. I tried to add my port to VLAN 10 tagged and changed the PVID to 10 but that didn't work. So is there a way to connect to the web interface with my client?

My server is connected to the 1930 24G, VLAN 20 untagged. And as expected the server has no connection to the web interface of that switch. The server can't connect to the PoE switch either and my client can't connect to the 1930 switch. The switches are connected with an uplink port with PVID 10. I tried various combinations of tagged and untagged for VLAN 10 but still get no connection to the web interface. Because I'm running out of ideas any help is appreciated.

Make sure that you have routing turned on between the VLANS so that you can connect to the IP address of the switch. Here is a link to the configuration guide of the 1930.

I already checked the admin guide but couldn't find any information on routing between VLANs. I have to say that this is my first AIO switch I am configuring so maybe I am missing something.

It was indeed a routing problem. Fixed that on the firewall, everything works fine now.
