    I received this email today can't find anything about it and it isn't available in my portal yet

    New software is available

    Version 2.3.1 is available for your Instant On site(s).

    +1 on this. Why don't Aruba support put in a community post or atleast a blog entry about the new firmwares before releasing them? Since all the issues people seem to have with 2.3.0 and no downgrade possibility you need to build trust again... Quickly.

    I found this when looking at the Software Update section within my Instant ON accound:
    • AP software Instant On v 2.3.1.
    • Switch software Instant On v 1.0.5.
    • Error correction and usage improvements.

    (This is my own translation since my system is in Spanish.)

    It feels like I'm updating twitter on Android.

    Maybe they screwed up again, but it does seem to think it's going to update on Sunday at 3am...

    I too would like to know if they fixed the stuff they broke.

    1 - the centrino card in my x230
    2 - canon printers that barely work on an open network.
    3 - panasonic phones that are "connected" but unreachable.

    And what to expect they broke.

    Fortunately, my project has been put off until September, so I can change to a completely different (begins with a U >_<) manufacturer if needed.

    Coming from the Unifi world I'm really hoping for a much more transparent experience with updates/fixes.  HP (non Instant On) is quite good but I'm hoping to move my smaller installs away from the Unifi world.  It's such a ridiculous they-can-do-no-wrong attitude with almost zero response form the company when it really matters, security and stability.  Really hoping the Instant On realm is MUCH better moving forward.

    They are, however, devoid of facts.
