Can anyone clarify how the update of a cloud managed 1960 stack is happening: is it updating one member at a time and waits until the update is completed before the next member starts to update or do all members start the update process at the same time cfg the updateprocess of AIO AP's ?

    Hey Yousch,

All switches are updated at the same time. You can change it manually if you don't want it to update all at once.

    Hello Jessica,

if all switches are updating at the same time, then what is the afdvantage of having a stack, other than single interface management.
Having a stack allow for connecting edge switches via distributed LACP to the stack. If both stack members, or even all switches update at the same time, then the network will have a serious outage every time an update is available.
When you say: " you can change it manually" does it mean that you can change the update time for each switch separately ? Keep in mind that we are talking about the cloud-managed setup, not the local managed setup.

    Thanks for your response.

Was this ever answered?  I don't see an option to update each switch one at a time when managing locally.
