Do you have any restrictions or adjustments to the radio? Because you write that a discovery after new devices causes the AP to reconnect.
Another idea: have you tried swapping the APs? In other words, connecting the other AP to Ethernet and the previously wired one over the air.
These are just random suggestions in the hope of narrowing down the error.
Good luck.

Subject: AP22 does not reconnect over air
If AP2 is connected to AP1 it gets its IP address from the same DHCP server in the same DHCP range. As i wrote in my original post: everything works find, until i pull the plug on AP2.

Subject: AP22 does not reconnect over air
Hello,
I purchased two AP22 (named AP1 and AP2) units for testing purposes.
Setup:
AP1 is setup as an access point via Ethernet.
AP2 is setup in the same location over the air with wall power.
The two devices are less than 1m apart from each other on my test bench.
One site was created for the test in the InstantOn portal.
What works
When the two devices are connected over the air, everything works.
Problem:
- When AP2 gets disconnected from power, it won't automatically reconnect to AP1 over the air. I waited more than hour, it did not happen.
- It will however reconnect, if i go into the InstantOn portal, click on add devices and check the "Include outdoor over-the-air devices" box. The portal will not say, that it found a new device, AP2 just comes back online.
- It will also reconnect, if i connect AP2 via Ethernet to the Internet without additional steps.
Any hints are appreciated.
