    AP25 not booting after update

    Hello All,

    I've noticed people complaining about update for instant on so I opened the app to check the new update and notice one of my AP25 in the far bedroom hasn't been up for 9 days. It is solid red with a quick amber flash. It is power by Aruba switch 1930 over PoE. Troubleshooting I have done:

    Unplug and replug

    Unmounted and brought directly to switch and plugged to multiple different port on switch

    Test working AP on different port which works fine

    Tried to console with miniusb to USB via Laptop

    Plug AP directly to AC still red solid and quick amber flash

    Tried reset to no avail 

    Bought this in 2022 is it RMA? What other steps I can take here? Thanks

    Hi Zhi, 

    Is the AP reachable via the local network, if so try opening local page of the AP by http://<ipaddr of the AP and share us what the onboarding status show, last reboot reason show.. it may give some clue.

    Not possible cause it's not assign an IP due to not booting up. Had try console still no go..

    For those considering purchasing Aruba products, I strongly advise against it. Following a recent update that rendered my access point inoperable, Aruba has refused to take responsibility. They directed me to the third-party seller, SecureWirelessWorks, who also failed to provide any assistance. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend purchasing from Aruba or SecureWirelessWorks.
