We need an option to manually push updates to switches and turn off auto update/reboot of switches.

The problem with auto updates and reboots is if you are running a VM over iscsi or Nas to a qnap and the switch reboots it can cause corruption of the VM.

this should be a immediate add as this is not good. I would not care if the ap's reboot but switches rebooting could be an issue.

I would like to see it say you have an update and than push to the switch that way I can shut down the VM when an update is needed.

Another option is to not reboot switches at the same time, do a staggered upgrade make sure one completes and online than go to the next.

Thanks for sharing the details. On our cloud portal, we have the software maintenance window, which can be customized i.e. picking a slot on when the upgrade should happen, by default, the software upgrade is scheduled for Sunday at 3 AM. A notification will pop up when a new software upgrade is available for the site, and the software can be manually upgraded when the notification pops up. Stopping an auto upgrade is not possible however, it can be installed immediately or postponed by seven days.

This is not good enough to support systems behind a Nas/san storage and a VM.

For example with Cisco meraki you can set individual devices to never auto update or even set the whole customer/site to never update and you manually push when ready. This is a critical need for any small smb that might be running any type of server or even 24x7 operations where they need to only do it once a month and need the option to postpone till ready.
