Problem with Mesh APs somtimes creating a Loop

At some of our Customer Sites we sometimes do have the Problem that an Access Point starts using Mesh and creates a Loop in the Network.

I can just speculate but it has to be something like that.

In each case we powercycled the AP. The issue goes away.

Interesting is, that even if all Switches use Spanning Tree the behaviour is lik when you do have a Loop in the Network.

I tried to troubleshoot this with support. Unfortunatelly the Logs on the AP seem to be deleted after a powecycle that is needed to get the Network Running again.

Our Customers to which this happened aren't really happy about this.

A Quick way to make sure that this doesn't happens would be if we were able to disable Mesh Funktionality for the Site or specific APs.

Is that possible or will this be possible?

Better would be to find the root cause of the behaviour and to fix it. But without logs this seems to be difficult.
