  • 1.  Unable to Access Default IP After Reset

    Posted 08-02-2024 10:27 AM

    I have 1930 Instant On.
I reset the switch by pressing the Reset pit on the switch front panel and turning on all the lights.
After resetting, I can never access the interface that should open at 192.168.1.1. I cannot ping this ip address.
I did not have a similar problem when I first bought it.

Notes: There is no problem with my network topology, I am trying to access from 192.168.1.2.

    Hi OGUZHAN OKTAY,

    I suspect the below

    1. may the factory reset is not happening correctly, and that reason switch is not going to default 192.168.1.1 Ip address. please try to hold the reset button for some more minutes
    2. after reset if the switch is still in the network, the switch will get an DHCP IP address from the network and will not be accessible via 192.168.1.1.. so maybe you can isolate the switch and try reset
