Feature Request - 802.11k & 802.11v & 802.11r

Expose the options to enable 802.11k & 802.11v for each SSID to enable better client roaming and 802.11r to allow fast transitions between AP.

I used 802.11k and 802.11v on my previous IAP-205 installation and clients roamed quick and smoothly, but I find with AIO and lack of 802.11k/v that when roaming between AP, my phone disconnects, switches to LTE for a couple seconds, then reconnects to wifi. You used to be able to walk around with a live Facetime call and it would never drop.

Thanks!

@scott83 Thank you for feedback on the roaming capabilities we do support 802.11r by default. I would recommend opening a support case to assist in troubleshooting your issues.

Re: Feature Request - 802.11k & 802.11v & 802.11r

Thanks @GThiesen , do you think you could confirm with the product team that 802.11r is enabled by default? Because looking at the copy of the logs I collected for support, troubleshooting a previous issue, "Advertise 802.11r Capability" and "Advertise 802.11k Capability" are both set to Disabled for all of my SSID profiles.

Thanks, Scott.

Hi @scott83 ,

Do you have a network using 802.1X authentication with RADIUS?  This is when you should see 802.11r enabled.
