Do 1930 Switches support always on PoE? I was wondering what would happen during an update cycle when the switch also powers AP's ? Do the AP's go down ?

Are the updates for the swiches following the same update cycle as the AP's ? If so, does the risk exist that the switch reboots while AP's are still updating , risking corrupt firmware? Is the update mechanism smart enough to first update one category and then the other of can you set different auto-update times ?

@yousch The Instant On 1930 does not retain PoE upon reboot. which means the AP will go down during a power recycle. Each device is independently updated. Depending on the complexity of the topology and interconnection of the various devices, the software update process can take quite a bit longer to complete. However, there shall be no fear of corrupted software. We are working on adding more intelligence to the overall process in a future release to optimize this part.
