Instant On - Wireless

I have an existing Meraki network (MX / MS / MR indoors) that I am looking to add some Aruba Instant On AP17 access points to for outdoor purposes. How does the AIO AP17 allocate IP addresses to clients? Does it have it's own DHCP server and/or can you place it in bridge mode and let my MX64 assign IP addresses? Related, is there a way to get trial / demo hardware so that can determine how they work?

The AP can serve as a DHCP server using NAT through the AP's IP interface or you can use an local external server.
