We set feature options and default values to accommodate all customer environments. Select clients with older drivers may experience a compatibility issue with OFDMA.

Looking at other manufacturers it appears they all leave it off by default so it seems wifi 6 is being deployed by most companies with its main technological advancement defeated and the installers no good way of knowing when it would be appropriate to enable this key feature or the fact that these are being supplied with the key feature defeated. We could enable it and then wait for the customers to complain that some of their clients aren't connecting properly which is a great way to not impress the customers.
when you say select clients with older drivers are you talking wifi 4 or 5 or wifi 6 clients with early drivers?
I guess the logical thing to do would be to create two wifi networks, one optimized and one OFDMA disabled and then tell customers to use the optimized wifi but if they experience problems use the other.
really seem like this wifi 6 deployment by everyone is premature and there's really crappy guidance listing pros, cons and best practice deployments examples and ideas.

Could you elaborate of this:
"Wi-Fi 6 OFDMA Configuration Option allows enabling and disabling the feature per network. OFDMA helps solve congestion issues and improves Wi-Fi performance with reduced latency, and increased efficiency. "
does this just mean we can turn off wi-fi 6 by disabling OFDMA?
I logged into a system and it seems OFDMA optimization is off by default but wi-fi 6 itself is on. Why is the default wi-fi 6 on but OFDMA off? What is 6 without OFDMA?
