    Dear Team,

    Does Aruba provide a locally hosted controller software for the purposes of managing their APs like Unifi Ubiquiti does?

    I have taken a good look at the Instant On Portal but I am not sure about accessing granular control features such as:
    • Client information (information on clients connected to a particular AP)
    • GUI interface to make controls

    No, it is entirely cloud controlled. One hopes it says this on the data sheet.

               hope the below helps ,

    you don't need any other software for managing instant on APs, they are designed to be managed by cloud portal or mobile app.

    also yes you should be able to control features via both cloud portal and mobile app and it shows detailed information about clients connected per AP, their details like IP address , customizable names and also top applications used by the clients and block unwanted traffics as per needs.
