the cloud is only for management, as long as your radius is local, you should be fine. All that you lose is ability to change settings.
I think, maybe, the phone app does the same thing, so you might be able to see the cloud, but changes there would not reflect through until the AP's next reporting in.

I want to setup and manage directly an ap22 without pass by Aruba Instant On. When I go in http on the ap22 with its address i can change only the ip address dynamic to static, the vlan and that s all. I can see on the chrome browseran authentication page is displayed quickly then disappears with a redirection on port 8081 or some information is displayed and or I cannot configure much except the static ip address.
It is possible like an 1930 switch to configure an ap22 localy ?
