    Hello,

I want to setup and manage directly an ap22 without pass by Aruba Instant On. When I go in http on the ap22 with its address i can change only the ip address dynamic to static, the vlan and that s all. I can see on the chrome browseran authentication page is displayed quickly then disappears with a redirection on port 8081 or some information is displayed and or I cannot configure much except the static ip address.
It is possible like an 1930 switch to configure an ap22 localy ?
    Thanks

Nope, only switches can be configured to local mode

Ok, thank you. Well if the internet connection is down, we cant do nothing. In this case, if we setup 802.1x with radius for peap mschapv2 aurhentication and if the internet connection down, the clients can always access to the ssid peap mschapv2 ?

    It depends,

If radiusn is accesib only through Internet, it won't work.

In theory. (no way to test, daughter is doing her classes online)

the cloud is only for management, as long as your radius is local, you should be fine. All that you lose is ability to change settings.
I think, maybe, the phone app does the same thing, so you might be able to see the cloud, but changes there would not reflect through until the AP's next reporting in.
