  • 1.  How to trunk vlans on a port

    Hi

I´m configuring a 1960 switch and I see that exists a port type called trunk.
If a I need to pass all vlans in a port, this works only tagged all vlans for this port? or I need further configuring this port like trunk?

    thanks!!!

Yes, this works if all VLANs are tagged into one port, but if you configure a trunk, you will have multiple ports aggregating multiple links. The trunk link function is to increase the bandwidth or link redundancy.
