Hi
After trying to figure out some issues with our voip truck provider, they mentioned that they are seeing from us advertising the private ip and not the static-public one?
Since it was the first time I heard something like that started checking every single option from the devices on the network. Since our telephone network is on a separate network, the only devices I had to check is the ISP modem, the switch and a Yeastar telephone center. None of the Yeastar and router seemed to have any misconfigured values and ended up with the switches. There I noticed the following under the below tabs
Routing -> Global Configuration: Routing slider is set to off (default option). Then why under
Neighbor Discovery->LLDP->LLDP Global Information->Capabilities Enabled mentions Bridge , Router (Why router, since it is set to off by default?)
Also under
Neighbor Discovery->LLDP->Remote Device Information->column Port Description states WAN PORT (why not local?)
I need help ASAP since the issue needs to be resolved the soonest.
Thank you
