Hi there,

big suprise - i have a question

I have two AP17 - one is mounted on one house (wired with the local network). The second is mounted on the second house (50 m away) - how can i manage that the second AP connects to the wifi from the first AP?

I have to admint I tried to configure it just with the iPhone App of Aruba.

@arthurkullnig For the first AP17 you would do a discovery using over the air to find the second AP17 and would be on the same site.

I would connect the second AP17 to the same wired network first. Then add the device to your site using the app or portal. After it is added move it to your permanent location. Over the air should work as well, but I think it uses Bluetooth to communicate between the two units, so distance might be an issue. Although 50m should be ok for Bluetooth if all is ok. If you already have things mounted, then I would just give it a try.
