I notice the AP11D is positioned well to replace consumer wireless routers, including all the needed ports and ability to function as basic firewall, router and NAT provider.
Are any other Instant On APs able to provide gateway functionality like the 11D?
I would assume the presence of a only single port on the other units restricts the functionality automatically. But it would be ideal in SOHO to be able to start with displacing a “high end” consumer router with an AP12 or 15 (and small switch if needed). And then gradually step into a more costly firewall solution, without having to require that immediately.
