Instant On - Wireless

Recall that some configurations were needed to get Chromecast working on regular Aruba IAP wifi network.

But with Instant On, there's no way to do these configurations since the Instant On app only lets you add devices, configure wifi network name and password, and letting you add VLAN.

Has anyone gotten Chromecast working on an Intant On wifi network?

Very good question! I would also like to know if this works out of the box or if we have to configure something as with the Instant APs.

Hi @Florent, I was able to finish setup Chromecast using InstantOn network, but Chromecast is not discoverable by other devices connected to the same network.

Can you confirm all devices are connected to the same employee network? Thank you.

I would like to know more about this topic. Did anyone else test the chromecast compatibility yet?

For those interested: Chromecast works just fine with Arbua Instant On.

How do I know? I am now an Instant On User.

Use AP-11 as employee network but chromecast is suddenly stop. Need reconnect to solve it but problem repeated in 3 minutes. Has anyone experience the same issue?

I'm using a chromecast and several chromecast capable devices with instant On APs (Wired and Meshed)

The models I use are AP15 and AP11d. I didn't see this issue so far.
