    Application details:

    • This is a default option for Visibility and control which allows us to view and control applications in the network.
    • It means it can categorize the traffic according to the application that the wireless client is communicating with.

    Application activity summary:

    • This option can overview of uploaded and downloaded data in the network.
    • It means it will disable the categorization of the traffic on a per-site basis.

    Note:

    •  When “Application activity summary” was enabled during the last 24 hours, the data at that time will all be related to the “Uncategorized” category.
    • It means after switching back to "Application details" option, then you check on "Applications", you should see the data of "Uncategorized" is increased.
    • The ‘Application activity summary’ doesn’t allow the blocking or unblocking of applications.
