Does the DHCP Server assign IP addresses to wireless clients only or also to wired ones?
Btw... what kind of firewall does the AP11D offer? SPI?
Can the DHCP range be set or is the entire /24 subnet used?
Are port forwardings (NAT) possible?
Feature/Product Request: A small router would fit very nicely into the Instant On range!

Hi, I am confused by this answer. The Aruba Instant On Deployment Guide on page 4 has this statement "Instant On APs can act as a DHCP server for wireless clients only (i.e., it cannot hand out IP addresses to wired clients and other Instant On APs connected to the wired network). "
But the above thread says an AP11D can act as a a DHCP server for a wired network; these two statements seem to be in conflict.
Am I missing something - can the AP11D give DHCP addresses to both wired and wireless clients?

I'm trying to confirm that I can connect my ISP modem directly to the AP11D and then connect a 1930 switch to the 11D and have my wired clients get DHCP addresses from the 11D. I will also configure a private and guest SSID for the 11D to broadcast and be the DHCP server for. Is this all possible? There was some language in the setup guide that I didn't fully understand, so I'm questioning the functionality. Thanks!
