  • 1.  AP22 Frequent Offline Alerts

    Posted 04-10-2023 11:39 AM

    Hi all,

I've got two AP22 access points and I'm seeing offline alerts in the history for both multiple times a day.

    Observations:
-The time of day of the occurrences seems random
-Both access points seem to go offline at the same time
-Alerts clear almost immediately so I can't tell if client connectivity is affected, and I don't get any notifications from the app
-Aside from the alerts in the history the access points are working well, there are no other symptoms of trouble

    I've tried:
-Setting up DHCP reservations for each access point (to rule out a renewing lease as the cause)
-Using different DNS servers (a reddit post suggested that slow DNS response could trigger this)
    -Using different switch ports
    -Powering by POE
    -Powering by DC adapter

Another post suggested that this is caused by the access points losing connectivity to the cloud, but I'm not sure what to do with that information. I've attached a couple screenshots of the alert history and alert details that I'm seeing.

Anyone have suggestions on what my next troubleshooting steps should be?

I have the same issue. I have two on the same network (one in house and the other in a far off workshop). I've tried everything. It's random. Are yours still doing this?

I have something very similar to this. only with AP11D*2 I don't think it is the APs themselves, I have no less than 60 alerts since last night of "Some devices are offline on site X " and "Site X is unreachable."

But it is only this one site and it all started after switching from NURO+Yamaha RTX to NTT+XG-100NE (10G uplink!) So I suspect it is not the AP's, but something they are doing and of course NO LOGS TO PERUSE does not helo me guess the problem.

Two other networks that have not been touched (AP22*17 and AP11D*3) have not had any such problem.
