  • 1.  Feature request. SNMP settings available through cloud portal

    • I really need the ability the set snmp on switches through the cloud management portal. I have 35 locations and it is so upsetting that if I want to use SNMP I can't unless I use local management.

    • please make SNMP configurable through the cloud portal.  This is a make or break situation for me and I probably won't expand my Aruba rollout to my other 30 sites with out it.

Wow, three years ago and they've still not implemented this.

    We're facing a similar issue.

It's a real problem for us too. Could someone please confirm it is on the roadmap?

I got with our Channel Account Manager and asking if he could pass the request along.  We're actively discussing whether we pivot from Instant On or just deal with the switches being locally managed.  For sites with Auvik it's less a big deal, but come on Aruba! You're so good in every other area, this just seems like such an oversight.

Is there a roadmap?  I would love to see it.

Instant On switch management only exposes a minuscule amount of the capability of those switches compared to locally managed.

I would put those switches against just about any other in the same price point when locally managed.  But when web managed they are really only designed for a barebones entry level environment.   I would love to see more parity.
