Hey TL,
Thank you for the update on this. It helps us better understand what's happening and check internally about the issue.

I managed to recreate the error again.
It only happens with mobile app.
In the Clients screen I tapped on one client and then immediately tapped on the one listed below it. After that the 2nd client was renamed to the one above it.
So this can happen easily by accident if you are a bit impatient.

Thanks. I am also not able to reproduce this as it seems to only happen rarely.
I believe I may have double tapped the client name in the Clients screen when this happened though as there was some delay after the first tap.
In any case, there needs to be a function to clear any client name override which has been put in place. At the moment you can only set it but not clear it.

Hey Tristan,
My team advised that they have heard of this issue. However, we are not able to reproduce the issue internally. It would help if you could share the screenshots and steps you're taking. This will help us attempt to reproduce it.

When clicking on a client in the InstantOn mobile app (iOS), I have twice had a bug where the app overrides the client name with the same name as the client below it.
And as it is not yet possible to reset a client name override you are then stuck with a client name-to-MAC address override. Disconnecting the client or renaming it on the client itself has no effect.
This doesn't appear to happen using the browser-based portal, only the iOS app (version 2.7.0).
