I think that AP22 can be a router only to WiFi clients. I don't think it can be used for wired clients.
To have router AP in your site, the site need to be created with router option. If it is only a standard wireless + wired then you need to create a new site.

As far as I know. All APs can work as both AP/ Router.

I wasn't aware that the AP22 could be used as a router. I thought only the AP11D could be used as a router.

I have an AP11D and 2 1830 switches. I bought an AP22 and was thinking about using it as a router. The questions I have are:
Will I need to create a new site with all Aruba devices in it? Wiping out the Vlans and configs I currently have
Can I set up a new site with the AP22 and import the config from my old site to my new site that has the AP22 as the router?
Can I set up the AP22 in router mode on the site that I currently have
