  • 1.  Possible failing 1930?

    I have the following network, it's a house with a steel frame, which is why there are so many.
    4F house

    This device with the alert 2F E RIGHT has just started playing up recently. Now, there IS a loop, that spanning tree usually detects and disables. (it connects both to 2F E LEFT (the one above it) and 4F POE (the one below with the AP17) It is just about a year old too.

    It is intermittently pingable, but I am not seeing a pattern to the response and/or lack thereof.

    And of course, there are NO LOGS for the end users, so we cannot begin to guess what the problem is. I expect to go on site and swap it for a spare on Friday. But I would really like to know what the problem is.
